Coltano Frazione in Tuscany, Italy Coltano is a village in Tuscany, central Italy, administratively a frazione of the comune of Pisa, province of Pisa. At the time of the 2001 census its population was 125.[\[2\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coltano#cite_note-2) Coltano is about 12km from the city of Pisa. Coltano was also the place of the first Marconi wireless intercontinental station of Italy officially opened in the 1911.
